Our new children’s concept, in John Lewis’ Oxford Street flagship, takes the shopper through the heart of each product group, from fashion to nursery and travel, to footwear, toys and crafts. The total experience is improved, including layout, lighting, merchandising, digital integration and customer service.

Individual product groupings create specific zones, shop-in-shops, held together by a singular design style and merchandising method. Each specific zone carries a unique element, to enhance the experience in that area. Multichannel is built into the structure of the space – not just a narrow shelf with a functional terminal, but a generous space to browse and buy in the heart of the store, supported with literature and samples when appropriate.

Graphics supporting these terminals are a call to action, encouraging customers to shop both online and in-store. This concept is benchmark in the UK; there isn’t a more authoritative and attractive space to shop this merchandise on the high street. It is a store that competes with, and compliments the JLP online offer perfectly… this is what department stores are built for.

Set inside Antwerp’s fantastically grand central station, BASE’s new flagship store has been graceful integrated into the ‘classified monument’ by Belgian concept and design consultancy, Creneau International. The leading Belgian telecoms company have brand values of “user-friendliness, clarity, transparency and emotion” and those values are just what Creneau have adhered to whilst working on this prepossessing project. With all shop fittings standing free from the walls, Creneau have retained the majesty of this historic property, allowed the product and brand to breathe and created an alluring, gallery like space that screams sophistication…..

The Flagship Store Powered by Reebok The Flagship Store Powered by Reebok, New Meadowlands Stadium (A.R.E Awards)

In a most unique twist, one store serves as two at the flagship store of the New York Giants and New York Jets at the New Meadowlands Stadium. With Giant blue and Jet green, the interchangeable store provides an appropriate backdrop to each team’s branded merchandise. The store uses a combination of modern architectural design and innovative fixtures, digital technology, and lighting to transform from Giants to Jets in three hours. The 9,600-square-foot store uses creative lighting, posted graphics, hidden storage and flexible and modular fixtures. The completed design features gleaming white floor-to-ceiling striped bands and color-changing LED ceiling that glows in team-specific colors.
